French toast with fruit-yogurt dip

French toast is the first thing that pops to mind when I think of all in one breakfast. It has eggs and bread put together, and throw in some Jam and butter, it is my idea of  simple but nice and coforting breakfast. Although french toast is universally regarded as breakfast, it can also double as a quick snack and  Anjalie will eat it with a fruit-yogurt dip any time of the day, be it, morning, noon or night time :)

Things you will need:
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
cinnamon, optional
butter
2 slices bread
Toddler's favorite fruit puree 1tbsp
natural yogurt 1tbsp

In a shallow bowl beat egg, milk and cinnamon. Place a frying pan on the stove at medium heat and melt a little butter. Dip a slice of bread into bowl with egg mixture making sure both sides are wet. Place slice of bread in the pan and cook until golden brown. Turn the bread over (add more butter if necessary) and cook until golden brown. Continue process with the other slice. Cut into toddlers favourite shapes.

For the dip sweeten the natural yogurt with toddler's favourite fruit puree and add a pinch of cinnamon to the mixture.

Anjalie particularly loves it that she can have her own dip for her bread pieces. You can see her when she was 7 months (pic above) enjoying the yogurt dip.
